I went into Wendy’s with salad on my mind. I was going to try the new Power Mediterranean Chicken Salad, but when I saw the brand spanking new Bacon Mozzarella Burger, I couldn’t pass it up. I went ahead and got a Caesar salad as my side though since the salad was already on my mind so I made what turned out to be delightful compromise.
The Bacon Mozzarella Burger came with Wendy’s fresh, never frozen beef patty, a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, mozzarella cheese, applewood smoked bacon, red onion, and fresh spring mix lettuce on a toasted garlic brioche bun. I purchased this sandwich as a single, but if you are really hungry and wanted to add more meat, you can get the sandwich as a double or even a triple patty sandwich.
I’ll start with my complaint. The burger patty wasn’t fresh and warm. Other than that, the taste of the sandwich was great. The garlic parmesan sauce was definitely the star of the show and added a really good multi-layered flavor. If the burger would have been hot and fresh, it should have been one of the best fast food sandwiches I’d had in a while but that was the fault of the store, not the burger itself.
Take my word and try this one out for yourself!
