Taco Bell’s Chicken Cantina Power Bowl is not a new item but its a first time item for me as it’s something that I have never gotten before. The Cantina Power Bowl contains marinated, fire-grilled white meat chicken, romaine lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo, avocado ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream, on a bed of Latin rice and black beans. This bowl is priced at $4.99 and is also available in steak for an additional $1. Best of all, even with the sour cream, guacamole, and avocado ranch dressing, this entire bowl is just 480 calories and contains nearly 30 grams of protein!
I really didn’t know how much food to expect so I got a side item of a taco just in case but it really wasn’t needed as this was a good sized meal. Maybe at dinner I could see something more being needed, but it’s really the right at a perfect sized portion for a lunchtime meal! Presentation comes our looking nice with all the items separated into their own little piles. Of course, being how I am, I instantly mixed this up so every bite tasted the same. Everything in this bowl WORKS and it goes together great!
At just 480 calories, this is a great meal for someone who may be watching their caloric intake AND the Cantina Power Bowl is pretty filling too! This is instantly one of my favorite every day items on the Taco Bell menu and if it wasn’t for blogging about different items, I would get this nearly every single time!
