Burger King Sausage, Egg & Cheese CROISSAN’WICH

I’ll admit that I’ve always been a little scared to try Burger King’s breakfast. I’ve always feared the “fake egg” taste and thought it would just be too much to make it that enjoyable of a meal. Today I will attempt to overcome my fear as I am finally giving it a go and I have ordered a Sausage, Egg & Cheese CROISSAN’WICH. Their grab-and-go Sausage, Egg & Cheese CROISSAN’WICH is piled high with savory sizzling sausage, fluffy eggs, and melted American cheese on a toasted, flaky croissant.

This was one of my rare meals as I didn’t get the sandwich and eat it right away in restaurant. This was a quick drive thru stop, and I took it home with me. Because of the added wait time for the drive home AND for the fact that our BK can’t ever get you a warm hot meal at lunch time, I really not expecting much.

To my amazement though, this sandwich was very warm and very fresh. The croissant was soft, yet flaky and not as dried out as what I had imagined. The sausage was flavorful, the cheese was melted and the egg actually tasted real as well! I was absolutely in shock! I had been afraid for years to get Burger King breakfast a chance and now that I have, it was fantastic!

My only complaint in this was the price. I think 1 of these were $2.79 but you could have gotten 2 for $2.99. If you needed 2, then you could see that being a great deal. With me only needing one of these, I feel like I got ripped off knowing that if they are selling these 2 for 3.. then at $2.79 for just 1, they are making a killing on it.

Other than that, it was a great sandwich and overall good experience with Burger King. I would absolutely try breakfast again!
