Burger King NEW Crispy Chicken

Burger King has been hammered over the years for their lack of a quality chicken sandwich. Their Tendercrisp has been through some up and down phases but has never been the crispy chicken sandwich the customer, OR Burger King, had hoped for. Burger King’s New Crispy Chicken Sandwich is made with 100% white meat chicken filet, seasoned and breaded and layered with fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, and creamy mayonnaise on a potato bun. Coming in at 670 calories, could this Crispy Chicken Sandwich turn things around for Burger King?

According to Business Insider, Burger King’s New Crispy Chicken Sandwich features a smaller 4 ounce patty but they have upped their game on its marinade and cooking process to make the chicken patty crispier on the outside and juicier on the inside.

After a little longer than anticipated wait time to get my food, I got my meal and was surprised to see hot and fresh sandwich AND fries. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich had 2 slices of tomato and a perfect amount of mayo. The lettuce could have used some work as it wasn’t really leafed lettuce but lettuce scraps. From the looks, I was just expecting this to be a Brioche bun so biting in and noticing it was a potato but was a little bit of a surprise for me. Not that it was a negative, it was just a surprise.

The chicken filet was cooked perfectly as the chicken had a great amount of juice left in it. So many times you get fast food chicken that is very dry but not this time. Great batter, great moisture, great sandwich. And with hot and fresh French Fries, I’ll wait an extra minute or two to get a meal like this one!

A vast improvement here. Make sure to check this one out!
